Caring For Polymer Clay

To ensure the life of your earrings or pins, please see below the “Do’s & Don’ts” of polymer care. 

• Don’t wear your earrings or hair pins in any body of water or get them wet on a regular basis. Consistent contact with water over time will compromise the integrity of the clay and weaken it, causing breakages and cracks.
• Do enjoy your earrings on a regular basis! 
• Don’t expose earrings to harsh chemicals such as perfume, deodorant, make up or body sprays/creams. In the event that you do, simply wipe over with a dry cloth.
• Do ensure your earrings are stored away from sunlight as this can also compromise both the structure and colour of your pieces.
• Don’t intentionally bend or drop your earrings. While the clay itself is pliable, any intentional force can cause damage that may not be able to be fixed.
